Studyinrussia.ru Reaches Out to Portuguese Speakers

International students can now learn all about Russian education in seven languages.

Studyinrussia.ru has launched a Portuguese version (https://studyinrussia.ru/pt/) to tap into the global Portuguese-speaking audience. At more than 200 mln speakers, Portuguese is one of the world's most used languages.

A highly popular educational website, Studyinrussia.ru is a “one-stop shop” for all international students in Russia, whether they are only considering enrolling at a Russian university, or are already pursuing their studies in this country and intend to go on to a higher level.

Here, you can learn about Russia's academic traditions, explore the advantages and costs of a Russian university degree, check out Russian universities' global rankings and consult more than 100 international student testimonials.

A detailed application guide will take you step by step through the process of enrolling at a Russian university. Use the on-site search tool to choose the desired education level, field of study, major, language of instruction and, finally, a program to suit out of a total of 3,500, all complete with course descriptions, tuition fee information and supervisor contacts. 

The Universities section carries a list of the best Russian universities, with dedicated pages offering a closer look at each. Importantly, you can apply to the university of your choice using your personal account. For this, click on the appropriate link, set up an account, fill out a form, and feel free to email one or more universities. A response will arrive within 10 working days. As many as 148,390 applications have been submitted from the website since it was launched in 2016. 

Studyinrussia.ru also provides advice on assembling application documents and moving to Russia (visa requirements, migration laws), with tips on adjusting to life in this country (living expenses, climate, places of interest, student accommodation and benefits, cuisine, public transit, etc.), as well as news, useful articles and answers to frequently asked questions.

The website is now available in seven languages: Russian, English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Arabic and Portuguese, with plans afoot to add Vietnamese and Turkish.
