Meeting of the International Council on Competitiveness Enhancement of Leading Russian Universities among Global Research and Education Centres 27-28 October 2017 Ekaterinburg (Russia) International Council on Competitiveness Enhancement of Leading Russian Universities among Global Research and Education Centres is a standing international consultative body designed to consider development challenges of leading Russian institutions. As the main governance body of the Project, the Council recommends international rankings as a source of KPIs for roadmap implementation, reviews progress reports, advises on funding and action plans, and consults the Ministry of Education and Science on continuation of support of participating universities.

APAIE-2018 Conference & Exhibition, Asia Pacific Association for International Education 25-29 March 2018 Singapore The APAIE Annual Conference and Exhibition attracts around 200 exhibitors and 1500 delegates each year. QS WORLDWIDE is a renowned conference that brings together international educators, senior academic administrators and government officials from across Russia, Central Asia and beyond. QS WORLDWIDE 2018 - “In Search of University Excellence: Perspectives from Russia and Central Asia”, held from 22-23 May 2018 in Moscow, the capital city of Russia, is a QS Asia event hosted and co-organized by RUDN University in partnership with Project 5-100. On May 24 RUDN will play host to the seminar-conference of Project 5-100 which will convene to discuss the progress (roadmaps) made by the universities participating in the academic excellence program.

Annual Conference & Expo of the National Association for Foreign Student Affairs, NAFSA 2018 27 May - 1 June 2018 Philadelphia, Penn., USA This annual conference and expo focusses on international education and inter-university partnerships with North American universities. Its 2017 event was attended by over 11,000 participants from 100 countries.
7th APEC Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education 11-12 September 2018 Vladivostok, Russia September 11-12, 2018 in frames of the IV Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2018) the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) will host 7th APEC Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education (APEC CCHE’18) themed “Education in the Digital Era: Challenges and Opportunities for APEC”. The conference will gather university presidents, heads of education agencies and research institutions as well as experts and distinguished scholars from APEC member-economies. Sessions of the APEC CCHE’18 will be devoted to the key issues of modernization of higher education and its evolving role in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Project 5-100 24th Seminar-Conference 7 September 2018 Moscow, Russia The Project Management Office organizes quarterly seminar-conferences for the leading universities providing a platform for strategic exchange through module sessions, workshops and panel discussions to help the universities succeed in their work in a constantly changing environment. It collaborates with key stakeholder organizations and institutions, promotes and advances international higher education in Russia. During the two or three-day diverse program, representatives of Russian universities, Russian and foreign experts and public authorities discuss topics such as: academic mobility, internationalization, university's reputation management, rankings methodologies, international student recruitment, quality of scientific publications and guidelines for writing a research paper for publication, citation indexes, scientific journals ’ international standards among others. The 2018 conference theme is 'Facing outward'. In 2017 with the theme, ‘a mosaic of cultures’, it was attended by more than 6,000 participants from 95 countries. The EAIE is the European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. It is a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions.
